About Kara Maddox
I'm a follower of Jesus, breaker of most rules, lover of art, Southern, creative, stubborn, addicted to travel and anything mint flavored, an avid learner and reader, movie fanatic, hater of cats, a secret Billy Idol fan, I lack tact, love to dance and enjoy being around funny interesting people.
I believe love always wins and that grace is for all.
oh and I own a pair of red cowboy boots.

Ray, I am sorry to hear about your loss(es). My favorite movie is Fight Club! I remember the first time I watched it after my mother died and that exact line brought me to tears. Sometimes in the midst of our grief we just need someone to be present. Someone to sit and quietly grieve beside us. I am reminded to do this myself when those around me experience loss. I have gained a lot of encouragement from reading your blog in the past and look forward to seeing more of your writing in the future! KaraForgiveness Ain’t Easy

Thanks John! I like how you phrased that with "waves of forgiveness". It is absolutely a process and a discipline. There will be waves so to speak, moments in our lives over and over again that we will be faced with the choice to forgive or not. Anytime I wrestle with it I have to ask myself, WHO am I really hurting? What is it costing me to hang out to this unforgiveness?Forgiveness Ain’t Easy
